Janne Gröning

Janne Gröning (b. 1952) has worked as a professional nature photographer for several years. He is concerned about the status of the environment and wants through his photos to show nature at its most magnificent; true, sincere, always present. For Janne, nature also signifies peace and calm and especially water is a source of never ending inspiration.

Janne does not believe in digital photographs or picture manipulation. All colors, lights and shapes in his photos are natural and organic. Although Janne mostly takes realistic photos, he also captures the abstract shapes in nature and concentrates on an especially beautiful shape, texture or color, thus leaving the viewer room for inspiration, discovery and delight.
